Thank you for letting me read Bernard's "The Bipolar 4 Life lifestyle Program".
I wish there were more people who could understand the effects of lifestyle on the
functioning of the brain/psyche and how much we could all do to ensure better quality of life and
function.
Bernard has an excellent program.
Congratulate him and wish him well with his on-going development

I have known Bernard for over 10 years. I mentioned to him recently that our friendship seems to be
intense and crazy the one minute and the next it’s cool and distant. He simply says: ‘welcome to being
friends with a Bipolar.’ I can’t say that it’s always easy being friends with him, but I think that has a lot
to do with me and my expectations. When I let go those expectations and just allow him to be, it’s
easier for both of us. And that sounds like a good recipe for any relationship.
Towards the end of 2006 Bernard was in a really bad space due to personal circumstances. The change
in him since then and particularly over the past few months has been almost unbelievable. Physically he
looks good: clear skin, bright eyes. His voice is clearer. He is positive and full of life. And most
importantly he has the internal mental and emotional reserves to deal with what is happening in his life
right now.
His lifestyle programme for Bipolar is a simple one. It doesn’t require any special equipment or food. What

it does require is a commitment to yourself and the potential that you have. It is not a quick fix; it’s

a way of life that can complement any therapy that you are currently using.

Good luck on your personal journey. Remember that you are the lead actor in your own life – go out and

live it for all you are worth.
